Beavertail State Park is home to the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum. It's the site of America's third oldest lighthouse (est. 1749). The Museum resides in the restored house that was originally built for the assistant keeper in 1898. The Museum is open mid June - Labor Day, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
